Middle Ages, for the sole purpose of fighting in the Knights Templar

For me, maybe the Early Modern era (1500-1800), particularly more near the 1800s since the Enlightenment was happening and lots of thinking was going on. However, the Middle Ages would be interesting because so much weird stuff was happening.
