This is an original painting created by me. I had learned how to draw and paint lamps with light in them the week before and decided to incorporate that in this painting as the main piece. I really like how the light looks and how it seems to bounce off the pole holding the lamp, however one thing I don’t like about this painting is the trees in the background. I think I could’ve put more finesse into them and made them a bit bolder and less brush-strokey, if that makes sense. Other than that, I would give this painting a 6/10. Good but needed some improvement.
