Right now, I think we’re stuck in an absolute clown world where bad means good, and dwarves are now regular sized and look like they just pillaged a local Renn Faire, then bought some LSD. If this seems familiar, that’s because this is what’s coming out of Disney as they not only are hemorrhaging money, but also imagination. So here’s why Snow White is going to fail.
#1: Greta Frickin’ Gerwig is the Director
Greta Gerwig – the same feminist nutball who destroyed Barbie – is directing this movie. This means that not only has the plot been completely subverted, but it’s going to be an intersectional freakshow of angry fem-nazis hammering into your kids’ heads that men are bad and love is for losers stuck in the patriarchy (unless it’s gay). Already in an interview, Rachel Zegler (Snow White) and Gal Gadot (the Evil Queen) have been bragging about how the word “fair” now is supposed to mean “just” instead of “beautiful”. The Prince has been dragged out of the story entirely because in the original story, he’s been labeled by Zegler as being a stalker.
Isn’t this just a wonderful lesson for your daughters to learn at the age of five? They’ll be feminists soon enough and woe be to the boy who dares ask her out, much less looks at her.
#2: Disney is Racist Towards White People
Could you imagine if Disney cast a white actress for the role of Tiana in a live action Princess and the Frog or if Mulan had been cast as a hispanic girl? The Left would be outraged. The Internet would literally catch fire as the servers burned. The rivers would be running red with blood. It would be anarchy, I tell you!
But cast a black, hispanic, or asian person as a white character and it’s fine. They’re simply defeating centuries of racism, you see. The movies were outdated and needed to be black-washed for the “modern audience.” Please tell me how that’s not racist.
Snow White is the only Disney princess whose skin color is an integral part of her character. Not only does the whiteness of her skin, the redness of her lips, and the ebony darkness of her hair make her more beautiful than her wicked and vain stepmother, but it is also representative of purity. In many Western cultures, white is the color of purity. That’s why things like wedding dresses are usually white. Get rid of Snow White’s skin color and make her “Latte Tan”, and you get rid of that symbolism. Though of course, the retards directing it are too shallow to understand that.
#3: What the Hell are Those Costumes (LMAO)
Look, I went to the Renn Faire this year and while I was there, I saw people wearing costumes that looked better than whatever the hell the costumes in Snow White are. Go to Party City or Spirit Halloween and most of the Snow White costumes for kids look better than whatever Rachel Zegler is wearing. Cosplayers on YouTube with a smaller budget than Disney had have made better looking costumes.
Not only was Snow White’s dress bad, but the Dwarves looked like the people who stand on the side of the highway or turn lane begging for money (to buy food obviously, not drugs). If fantasy-world drug addicts were a thing, that’s what I imagine they would look like. And thanks to Peter Dinklage (who would’ve been perfect in the role of Angry – maybe rename him Outraged), the Dwarves don’t even look like Dwarves. They look like normal-sized hippies. If there’s a better example of how Leftism only ruins what was originally good, that will be the day hell freezes over.
